BioI'm a huge fan of urban fantasy and am currently working on a novel in that genre. Since nobody's paying me to write, I work as a pension analyst to pay the bills. I am half Irish and half Jewish, raised Catholic, my grandmother died in the Holocaust and my father barely escaped the Nazis. All those things inform my writing. I love using fantasy as a metaphor for real world issues. I studied English Literature and theology in college (Smith College in Massachusetts)and have a fascination with Celtic (especially Irish) mythology.
